SHANI'S GIRLS is a ladies performance team directed by SHANI TALMOR. "Shani's girls" started as a little show case that was prepared for the Puerto Rico salsa/hustle congress 2007. The congress gives an opportunity for the students to perform with their teachers, there for Shani asked her students if they would like to participate in an all-girls showcase, and they said agreed. The girls worked on the show in a very short period of time and performed with it for the first time in October 2007, which was great success. After PR, Shani decided to continue working with the girls and to become an official ladies styling performance team. After that - the rumor has spreader and a lot of new girls join the team so Shani has split the girls to 2 separated teams that each one have a different choreography. 1. Shani's girls Pro team 2. Shani's girls semi-pro team The style of "Shani's girls" combine salsa with elements of jazz, hip hop, samba, cha cha cha, reggeatton and a lot of technique. What Shani mainly focus about is technique - each girl at the team has her own unique style - non of the girls look the same but they all have a very high level of technique and understanding of the dance and the music. And whats more important is that they all look good as a whole on stage.
